1987 Saab convertible
submission for 80's RR of the day - I bought this car in 2002 for $1800. It surely would have ended up in the junkyard. Over a couple of years, I've done the following to bring it back to the condition its in now: new top, resprayed bumpers, added the SPG side skirts , bumper extentions and wheel arches, Lowered it 1.5 inches with boge springs, swapped rear axles and front suspension to allow for the better braking system of the 88+ 900's, also that allowed for the 16" aero wheels. 1987 was the first year for the Saab convertible aside from the handful of 1986 prototypes. The paint is original and 99% rust free. It no longer sees winters so hopefully it will stay rust free for a while. I'm 25 now and this is my 3rd Saab so far.

ps. I felt bad after reading the great write up. Even though it was my vision to how the car turned out, 95% of the work was done by Jon and his crew at Commercial Tech Service in Bow, NH. I wouldn't own Saabs at all if it wasnt for them. -Thanks, Patrick.
