Jamaica Bay Shrine

In a certain Jamaica Bay cove, following unknown cultural and aquatic currents, Indian ceremonial items -- statues, saris, fabrics, picture frames -- regularly wash ashore. Someone set this statue (Shiva and Parvati? Please forgive ignorance) upright and gazing across the bay, guardians of immigrant dreams.
