Fresh local Ontario farmers' produce.
Last Saturday I went to our Farmers' Market here in Brantford. It was a sunny and cool day and just a perfect weather for a walk over and back again.
When I came home, it was still cool out and I decided this would be a perfect shot to post. So I gathered up my spare baskets and arranged everything in them and set them up on my new balcony.
There are 8 tomatoes, 1 green pepper, a bunch of extra large radishes, bunch of asparagus, 1/2 pound of strawberry rhubarb, the sweet kind, 2 pounds of cabbage slaw, and one quart each of strawberries, yellow beans and peas in their pods.
I have eaten the strawberries, cabbage slaw, 4 tomatoes, some of the peas and some of the beans.
I think I did pretty good to buy all of this for only $22.00.
What do you think?
