    I wonder what would be different if you simply bounced off the ceiling? The specular on the egg looks very much like a reflection of the ceiling.

    I'd be more likely to bounce flash off of a piece of white foam-core, or just put my "ripstop nylon" scrim in front/on top of it.
    Foil is best idea yet. it still seems color balanced, so it works well.
    Makes me want to copy the setup/picture for fun. :)

    I'm pretty sure I saw this picture (or one VERY similar) in a Bank window just south of Times Square advertising some sort of "Nest Egg" somethingorother. Can anyone confirm?
