Governors Ball Decor

Mark Held, co-owner of Mark's Garden, is designing a series of floral sculptures to complement the Ball’s sophisticated Mediterranean-inspired lounge decor. All the flowers used in the designs will be in red tones - over 200 shades of red visible to the naked eye. The tabletop decor will be set against a background of silver, gray and warm taupe. The majority of the arrangements will be placed on coffee and side tables scattered throughout the Ballroom. Additionally, Held is creating multiple pieces mixed with candles for several of the larger dining tables. The floral sculptures will feature roses, orchids, amaryllis, tulips and calla lilies. The flowers, which are being flown in especially for Hollywood’s biggest night, come from countries all over the world including South America, Holland and Singapore.
