What's up dude? You know, even though I don't really follow NCAA basketball all year, it still is a bit of a let down when all the games are over. I don't even really look forward to March Madness, but now that it's gone, I miss it. Nice to see you back Kurt. This shot is just exceptional! I love the details in the eye as well as the feathers, the eye almost looks like it is fake added in post production. The B&W one looks so cool, like it is in infrared or something. Outstanding work man.

A bird? A bird? YOU took a picture of a bird in Seattle - and not a fish? Do you realize that a parrot is only one step away from a pelican! =) And I thought my yellow-crowned night heron had eyes! Beautiful! Gorgeous light on those precsioned-layered feathers too! Welcome back, missed ya!

What an excellent parrot. Is it yours? Cuz if it's yours, you do know the little guy is going to outlive you, right? By years and years and years probably. So, you'd better have a plan. Maybe you could teach him a whole bunch of cuss words and then will him to a church. That would be fun, huh? I guess you could just let the little guy go free, but that might be a bit cruel, as I'm sure you spoil him rotten. It's nothing but caviar and champagne for that little birdy. I can tell by the look in his eye.

Super shot buddy. I like it a lot. Welcome back to flickrville.

For some reason, the song that pops into my head is George Harrison's Got My Mind set on You... Great clarity and details on this parrot. This seems a little out of the ordinary... I'm used to seeing people candids, not parrots! :)
