These looked like smiling robot faces to me :) Brilliantly composed - awesome POV and bokeh.

Hmmm, not sure which one I like more...I mean they are both fantastic! I think I'll go with the B&W just to give an answer, the bokeh is kinda mysterious which I like! Love the DoF.

Isn't it funny how we still use parking meters? We have come so far in technology, yet we still have little metal boxes that you have to drop antiquated currency in just to have your car in a certain spot. One would think that we are past this by now!

LOL! Wouldn't it be great if we could just grab a few of those "bokeh coins," roll them into the meter, and be on our way!? I think I am with Sonora Guy on this one! Love the black and white, but that red really rocks!

I like even the color one, because of the lights in the distant!

I thought you'd done meters before....very excellent title for this. I think the parking meters in SF may be worse than the ones Ida mentioned at UCLA...thus I always parked in garages (there are some reasonably priced ones, amazingly).

I like the B&W...the colored bokeh is a little distracting to me, unless you're wanting holiday bokeh!

Lovely shot! One of the occations when the title is even better, all though it is hard to argue with a bokeh like that.... Fine composition with the sharp parking meter on the left fading into the pearls on the right.

Each has it's place/use. The B&W sure grabbed me though.

    You are a lucky man...;-)
We don´t have this " parquímetros" here...we have persons...who are in the place in which you leave your car...and if you don´t gave them 1 euro...they destroy your car...;-)

I know it because last year my daughter do not want to leave them the euro..and they destroy my rearview mirror ..;-(

    I nearly kill my daughter...;-))

I love this shot -- in both the b&w and the color version (slight preference for the color because of the way the reds play together). Brilliant use of DOF -- both in seeing the chance for such a shot and in executing it. This is great.

I like the color version more simply because the bokeh looks mighty cool in color :)
