Kkakdugi and Mak kimchi

    Made Kkakdugi and Mak kimchi by following Maangchi's recipes. I left out the fish sauce and squid (replaced with soy sauce) so my vegetarian friends would be able to eat this too, but somehow I am missing something flavor-wise.

      Your 2 kinds of kimchi look fantastic. Vegetarian version kimchi! When it ferments, it will be more delicious.

      This looks absolutely delicious! Thanks for the links, it's a good reference. My Korean cookbook has a bit about kimchi, but I've never given it a try. I'll certainly do that now. This looks too easy not to try.
