Montrose Bay Jetty

Thought I'd go out last night and use the 10 stopper to get some shots, especially with the broody sky. I was looking to add to my recent theme of jetties & piers.

I got out to Montrose Bay, set the camera up on the jetty and decided to take a couple of test shots before loading the 10 stopper onto the front of the lens. All good, so put the 10 stopper on, and lo and behold it started to rain - not hard, but enough to give you the willys because it was driving straight onto the lens/filters, and with a near 4 minute exposure required, it was impossible to keep it from getting onto the lens. So I did some shorter exposures instead. One of these days I'll get the conditions I am looking for.
