Mortimer Bay Shoreline
I had gone to Clifton Beach without checking the tide times, only to find a huge swell and high tide happening which was not even close to what I was hoping to capture.
So I quickly drove around to the sheltered side, Mortimer Bay, a place I had never been before, to look for a particular spot I had seen other photographers shoot. Whilst this is not that place, I was taken by this part of the bay due to the beautiful colour of the water and the somewhat threatening sky which loomed overhead.
I felt that the gently lapping waves created a counter-balance for the sky.
