Here is a late afternoon/dusk image from the Boston University Bridge. The scene was quite spectacular with the light reflecting off of the buildings and the (BU or Harvard?) sailing team making the rounds.
I am not happy with this for a few reasons. The first is that the composition is kind of flat. I needed to be about 100 feet in the air and off to the right a little bit. Unfortunately my helicopter wasn't available for the late afternoon shoot.
Also, as I told you yesterday, my tripod mount was left sitting on the lunch table so I had to shoot this handheld (it's a three image exposure composite). It is not as crisp as I would like.
Ultimately it's OK and does a relatively decent job of capturing what we saw. I wouldn't have shared it if we hadn't make a monumental effort to get to the bridge when we did!
I know you all loved that I said Monday wasn't that bad earlier and guess what! It's already over!! Woooo! :-D
Please view this LARGE ON BLACK while it lasts!
PS - The images in the comments are all SOOC and taken around the same time as this image. I might actually like the blurred skyline. better (it was no accident)
