The Recklessness of Water
I just spent a week and a half at the Oregon coast. A full week of camping at Washburne Park, and another couple of days at the beach house in Rockaway Beach. Despite the beautiful scenery (including Cape Perpetua, my new favorite spot on the coast), there was no color to be had during the entire time at the coast. There was a cloud/fog bank that hung over the water the entire time and killed every sunrise and sunset. Another time, I suppose. And, who knows, once I get the images I took uploaded, maybe there's something that works despite the poor photo conditions.
For now, here's an image I took last month while hiking with my son along the McKenzie River.
