Baseball Champs
The Trinity College baseball team capped arguably the most remarkable season in NCAA history by setting the all-time record for winning percentage (.978) en route to a perfect regular season and a Div. III National Championship. They have since been recognized by Connecticut Governor Jodi Rell, Hartford Mayor Eddie Perez, the Boston Red Sox, the University of Connecticut, and awarded a Metro Hartford "Rising Star," among other honors.

The historic run was followed by media outlets including ESPN, Sports Illustrated, the New York Times, USA Today, and most prominently in their hometown paper, th Hartford Courant.

The 2008 Bantams boasted three All-Americans on their roster, and head coach Bill Decker was recognized with National Coach of the Year honors. Three players from the 2008 roster are now playing professional baseball.
