But it doesn’t stop here. In order to be able to locate an article quickly, it’s a good idea to Xerox or scan the table of contents page.

Print it out & then you can keep this in a 3-ring binder (I call this

my “Index”) I have it organized according to magazine and year. Then when I am looking for say printmaking lesson ideas, I can just look through my index, locate the magazine(s), and pull out the binder(s).

It’s a fast, efficient way to find things, especially on our limited

amount of time. It’s also a good idea to jot things down on your table of contents. For instance, one article I saw was called “looking at faces from a new angle”. I thought it was a great correlation to Picasso, so I wrote his name beside the title. That way when I am searching my contents, I know I can relate that to Picasso!
