Rainier Lager Ghost
Ghost sign for Rainier Lager, Battery St., San Francisco, Ca. This historic building on San Francisco's waterfront may date to 1874, though the earliest reliable photographic evidence does not place it any earlier than 1880. It has been used as a seamen's hotel and saloon during most of its years. Rainer had a brewery in San Francisco from 1915-1920 and from 1933-1953 (time gap due to Prohibition). In later years the building housed a restaurant (bottom ghost).
