Windows and Columns

This shot was taken on the 2nd floor of the now mostly abandoned Packard Plant in Detroit. It was built beginning in 1903 and finished in 1907. At its peak, over 12,000 people worked here and it at the time, one if not the largest manufacturing plants in the world. It was primarily closed down in 1957. I was amazed at how much trash, motorized vehicles, huge amounts of paper products, etc....the list could go on and on.....that have accumulated over the last 53 years. It is still an amazing place though, worth the trip to go and see!
