A Bird in the Hand - Project 365 Day 312

    Newer Older

Day 312 of 365, the other day when I was in Fish Creek, I had no problem getting the birds to land on my hand. No, I didn't have food for them, they'll come if you just have your hand out. I didn't have the right camera/lens combo to get the shot, so today I took the P90 with me. I wasn't out of my car 30 seconds before I had this guy over to get his close-up.

    53 to go!

They are well conditioned by people bringing food treats.

The stretch between the Stoney Trail bridge and Bowness Park is another place where they come down quite readily.

She'd be most put out knowing that you'd called her a"guy", Ron, LOL! It works well down there, doesn't it? Nice shot of this little lady.

How interesting. I've never had a bird land on my hand, that's pretty cool.
