I am so regreting not seeing if it played -- trying to figure out Ode to Joy all over again on a piano that's been sitting idle for 30 years in an abandoned house and probably was entirely out of tune. Which, really, wouldn't have mattered because I'd be hitting all the wrong notes anyhow.

      Grazie, Marco!

Mike, I know, me too! I was so involved in taking pictures of it that I never touched it.

I'm blaming the heat. I didn't talk to everyone as much as I normally would have liked to either. Cool photo ops just the same though.

That's true.. I just realized that I barely talked to you today.. heat silencer!

I've never regretted not playing an out-of-tune piano. One of the pleasures of my digital piano is not having to worry with all those tempermental strings anymore. This piano makes me sad; surely it has seen better times.

Tuning is overrated. There's always prepared piano, a la John Cage...

Because I've already tried to make this kind of picture before (not very well succeeded) I think that you've been able to give us a very good perspective.

Love the antique effect. Effectively conveys somnething of sentimental value, makes a visual statement.
