Hellbrunn

Hellbrunn je barokna vila blizu Salzburga. Markus Sittikus von Hohenems, princ-nadbiskup Salzburga, dao ju je sagraditi od 1613-19. Vila je bila samo dnevna rezidencija ljeti, jer se nadbiskup običnona večer vraćao u Salzburg. Na trećoj se slici vidi kameni stol okružen stolcima kroz koje su provedeni prolazi za vodu. Kad se mehanizam aktivira voda štrca iz sjedala gostiju, ali ne iz sjedala Markusa Sitticusa, on se nikad nije smočio. Čovjek ne bi očekivao takav smisao za smiješno od jednog nadbiskupa...

  

Hellbrunn is Baroque villa near Salzburg. It was built in 1613-19 by Markus Sittikus von Hohenems, Prince-Archbishop of Salzburg. It was a day residence in summer, as the Archbishop usually returned to Salzburg in the evening.

In the third photo there is a stone table and stone seats through which a water conduit sprays water into the seat of the guests when the mechanism is activated, but not from the seat of Marcus Sittikus, who was never wet. One would not expect such sense of humour of archbishop...
