McNulty House, Westchester Square, The Bronx, New York City, about 1897

This house was built by my Great-grandparents Michael McNulty and Marie Gallagher McNulty in 1895. Michael and Maria were living in a rented house a few blocks away. They built this house at this location as there was an old foundation already there; they purchased the land from a Mrs. Sias. The house was constructed on Green Lane, Village of Westchester, Westchester County; today it is Zerega Avenue, Westchester Square, The Bronx. The woman in front of the house my father said was Maria Gallagher McNulty.

Michael and Maria McNulty were my father's maternal grandparents. My father was born in this house. My children lived in this house as infants. We sold the house in the late 1970s.
