John Thomas Griffin

Tom was born in Barton-on-Irwell (Near Manchester), England. He and his family moved to Fall River, Massachusetts in 1884 when he was 17. He moved on his own to lower Westchester County, New York in his 20s where he started a photography studio in Clason Point.


Among Tom's surviving photos are pictures of families (including his own in New York and Massachusetts), a local silk mill, and mansions in Floral Park, Long Island, New York.
