Total New Vehicle Market - 1.11 Million Units

Out of the Top 10 Selling Manufacturers, Mazda, Hyundai, Nissan, Volkswagen and Subaru recorded record sales.

Other's that enjoyed record sales, were - Jeep, Audi, Renault, Great Wall, Isuzu and Skoda amongst others.

Mazda became the first full line importer to sell over 100,000 unit's in a single year and the first time an importer took a podium spot in the Top 3 ever! Hyundai outsold Ford by roughly 1,000 unit's to take 4th sport and Toyota smashed everyone to claim the number 1 spot.

Audi enjoyed 6 years of consecutive growth and nearly reached it's target of 15,000 unit's 2 years ahead of time! Skoda improved sales by 20%, but 2013 will be the year that should see Skoda sales improve dramatically with the introduction of the Citigo light car, Rapid small car and the all new Octavia.

Renault enjoyed it's best ever sales result since it was re-introduced to our market on 2001 with 5,011 units.

The Fiat - Chrysler Group and PSA - Citroen - Peugeot Group should enjoy better sales in 2013, after all the restructuring they've gone through in the past 6 months in Australia. Jeep has pretty much kept the Fiat - Chysler Group a float, while 2013 should see the last time Dodge will be represented in this country. There's only one Dodge product that you can buy in Australia and that's the Dodge Journey MPV.

After 3 full months on the Australian market, Opel sold 541 cars! 2013 will be an interesting year for them, if they can keep that rate up, 2,000 unit's shouldn't be too hard to get!

SAAB finished with 27 units.
