120/365 - Machapuchare
Machapuchare is the name of the seriously kick ass peak in the Annapurna range. It's nickname is "Fish Tail" which should be understood from this image, and it's not allowed to be climbed because it's sacred to the Nepalese people with respect to Shiva. It's just under 7000 meters in height.
This was a great day for us, we stayed in Ghondruk at a beautiful place after a very easy hike. We spent the afternoon on the porch admiring the view (or lack of a view at some times) and just had some time to talk, think, and enjoy life.
In the evening the clouds started to clear, so of course we got our cameras out and started snapping away. I particularly like this pic because of the way you get visibility of the whole peak but the clouds are still encompassing the top.
