Cirrus Clouds HD Desktop 16x9

Cirrus Clouds - I've always found it difficult to convey the intricacies of cirrus clouds and their horsetail patterns to a desktop. This time I added several adjustment over-layers. (1) A high-pass overlay at 250 pixel sizing, (2) A high-pass hard light at 2 pixels, (which I then altered with the shadow-highlight tool to prevent burnout spots), and then, after copying the original layer, I modified the original background and changed it to black-and-white, zeroing the blue and cyan colors and maximizing the yellow and red. I then played with fading the color layer over it to darken the blue sky to what we you see here. Now that you've read this far, I know you are attentive and with a long attention span - and probably have noticed the bird flying in this image, and perhaps wondered (at first) if it might be dust on the sensor, until you looked at it closely, maybe even full size. At least, that's what I did when I saw it. :)
