Shuttle Endeavour Final Fly Past over San Francisco - 2nd Fly Past over SF & the Bay
Following the first fly past over Marin Heads the Endeavour circled around the Bay east of San Francisco and then lined up for a run in over the city. Everyone standing on Marin Heads (including me) was expecting & hoping for a shot as it flew over the Golden Gate Bridge; but unfortunately the shuttle swung south just before the bridge because of the lingering sea mist. This meant it didn't come as close as expected to be recorded on the 17-85mm zoom & 7D combination.
It was a special morning having both seen a glorious sunrise over the Golden Gate Bridge, and to see the shuttle on its final flight do two fly pasts - A very special day altogether!!
