Öxarárfoss in Thingvellir
This is from Thingvellir (Þingvellir) Park in Iceland. The Sturlunga Sagas written about 900 years ago mention a man-made redirection of the river to this valley, resulting these falls. It tumbles over a fissure between the North American and the European tectonic plates. Öxará Foss translates to waterfall on the Oxara (or Ax) River.
