This is the International Children's Monument and Park on the outskirts of Sofia. It was built on the occasion of the first Children’s Assembly “Banner of Peace”, held in Sofia in 1979 in dedication to the International Year of the Child. It was commissioned by Lyudmila Zhivkova (daughter of Todor Zhivkov and Minsiter of Culture). The architect was Georgi Stoilov and the sculptor was Velichko Minekov.
