Dandry Mire Viaduct, Garsdale Head, Cumbria

66506 "Crewe Regeneration" hauls a long freightliner heavy haul train northwards over the Dandry Mire viaduct on the Settle & Carlisle Railway.

The viaduct was built in 1875, The railway was originally meant to cross on a embankment, but after tipping endless tons of earth into the bog which sank, it was decided a viaduct was the way to go!
