Three-Toed Woodpecker (Picoides tridactylus). Male & young one.
Quite rare breeder in my area, breeds in very old forests, often for some unknown reason near goshawk. Here it was 40 meters to goshawks nest.
Really tame ones, all picks taken from 4 meters without hide.
(That`s no ps-trick, but spit from woodpeckers bills after feeding...sometimes one gets unnoticed surprises to picks...)
