Rough-Legged Buzzard ( Buteo lagopus ), male. 24.4.2010, Raumojärvi, Tornio, Finland.
There are lots of voles in the fields. Two days ago there has been counted 19 resting and hunting Rough-Legged Buzzards in a small area near my home. Captured with camera today this hunting one...
Rough-Legged use to move more up north, but in some years they may try to nest also here. We`ll see...
