Eurasian Jay (Garrulus glandarius) . 15.4.2009, Tornio.
Pretty scary bird, size something between our trushes - magpies. Nests in dense spruce forests near villages, but also in the wilderness.
Found some days ago dead hare from the road. Actually this is very dangerous time for hares. I`ve seen 5-10 dead hares in recent two weeks. They move quite a lot now when they have their first mating season of the year...
So I recycled the hare, carried it to the forest for birds. If You don`t like the look of dead hares etc. don`t scroll downwards...
Bought to myself as a birthday present Kenko 1.4 Pro Teleconverter...much cheaper than Nikons own, and my first non-nikon product, but as I was informed it draws really clearly. This one taken with it + Nikon AFS-D 4/300mm.
To my eye absolutely better On Black
