Kent State Golf Teams Win MAC Championships
Excellence in Mid-American Conference (MAC) golf has more than found its home at Kent State University and looks to be around for quite a while. This past weekend (May 4-7), the Kent State Golden Flashes’ men’s golf team won its fourth straight and 20th overall MAC Championship by a resounding 40 strokes. Led by individual medalist Corey Conners’ 54-hole score of 209 (-7; 70-67-72) the team shot a three round total of 855. Ranked 18th nationally, the conference championship was the fifth team title for the Golden Flashes this season, tying the team for the fourth most in the country this year. Read more at
