Illustrations & Illuminations of Middle-earth
Years ago I did some illustrations as illuminated manuscript pages for Tolkien's Middle-earth lengendarium and tried to add text in the many different Elvish languages he invented.

Some of these pieces were done as limited edition hand-colored prints while many others are one of a kind - at least in color. All were done in a graphically strong black and white version that saw a lot of publication throughout the Tolkien fan community as most of those magazines and newsletters were only published in B&W. But all were conceived with an colored, illuminated version finally.

Recently, I have been accepting commissions for new pieces in this mode. The Silmarils Triptych of three new pieces tells the story of the creation of the Silmaril jewels by Elven jewel-smith, Feanor. The Ancalagon Triptych illustrates scenes of the end of the War of Wrath described in the Silamrillion and other works.
