Nymphaea rubra

Flower of what appears to be Nymphaea rubra, photographed at Anderson Park Botanic Gardens, Townsville, Australia. This species is used in aquariums, and may have colonised the lake here when someone emptied their aquarium into the water. Any help with confirming the identification would be gratefully appreciated.
