    Hardware vs software: the eternal battle. I did the math. If you were to use a 360k floppy drive to install Windows 8 (if that were even possible), it would take well over 5,500 disks.

      This one was on the bottom of a drawer, the machine that could read it has long-since been recycled. But your comment prompted me to google the topic: Yes, you can still buy new floppy disks. www.athana.com/html/diskette.html
