oil drain 2

    Tools of the trade.
    I let the dealer do the last oil change and they mangled the drain plug. Replacement part (not pictured) was $14.

      ugh. there's just no excuse for this kind of thing. I can never get over how many places I see "mechanics" tightening these with pneumatic drivers. 1/4 turn kids, 1/4 turn... :/

      change your filter every 2500 miles, change your oil with good quality Havoline or GXT senthetic blends every 7500 miles. Higher milage engines use a thicker 20w50. So basically use 2 new filters between oil changes, add a quart when necessary and I swear by Lucas oil treatments.
