Orchid at Kwafurina II

This orchid was planted on a tree outside Richie's home in Wawokwafa village when hewas a boy. On May 11th 1972 Cyclone Anna came and tore the whole village down, leaving a devestation of fallen houses and trees, and the villagers decided to live up on the ridge instead. The tree with the orchid was one of a few that was still standing, and it still stands today, with the blossoms shining towards the odd visitor like a comemoration.
