"Poolside and Swim Wear Ensembles Take Their Place in Whirl of Bathing Fashion"
Swim wear fashions by Catalina and Cole of California.
Opening advert text:
Yesterday's sun-loving lady often had to be content with the functional, the simple suit that served its purpose for swimming and, in the case of those with fine figures, was revealing enough to play up one's physical assets. Out of the water, a beach robe was sufficient, should she wish to cover up. Not so the case today. While swim wear of the mid-60s can be daring in the extent to which it exposes the female form, it has attained greater versatility by being extended to incorporate poolside wear as part of the swimming ensemble.
