New rubber for the BD
The Bruneau Durieux got a new set of shoes. I was never happy with the old black roadster tyres on this early continental sports bike, but they were all I had to hand that were narrow enough to fit through the sight gap on the front forks. The cream Schwalbe Delta Cruisers looked great but were too fat for the limited clearance.
After selling a prewar Raleigh Sports just before the lockdown kicked in, I could justify getting these brown roadster tyres from Germany. Much happier with the look now.
Still to do on this bike - fit a front brake, similar to the rear. Stopping power is barely acceptable in the dry, non existant in the wet.
