Green Bay Marathon
In 2005, for the second time in our lives, a family member was diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, a fatal neurodegenerative disease.

Frank says "when a rare disease like this affects your family twice you had better do something. So, in my infinite wisdom I decided to run 26 miles 385 yards to help raise awareness and funds to defeat this killer."

He trained for months, then leading a team of 19 walkers and runners, he completed his 1st marathon, a challenging goal at age 52, but not his primary mission. Raising ALS awareness and funds is our mission.

Please visit www.defeatingals.com and join our effort to find a cause and a cure for Lou Gehrig's disease.
