Bahá'í Temple, Sydney

34/365

Today some friends took us to the lovely Bahá'í Temple in Sydney.

While I am not personally religious, I do find religion a fascinating subject and like to learn more about it.

The Bahá'í faith is interesting as it combines elements on many religions. The Bahá'í faith, from what I know (which is very little) teaches that the prophets of old, such as Abraham and Buddha, each established a religion suited to the time, place and people of their day.

Bahá'ís believe that Bahá'u'lláh, the man (why are religious prophets invariably men?!) who established the faith in nineteenth-century Persia, is the final prophet.

The Bahá'í faith teaches unity and non-discrimination, including advocating a universal auxiliary language to better help people communicate.

Attempted low-key HDR, done in Luminance with these parameters:

Operator: Mantiuk06

Contrast Mapping factor: 0.1

Saturation Factor: 1.4

Detail Factor: 1

PreGamma: 1
