Russia Mission Trip 2008
In June of 2008, Sandy Van Vlymen, president of Widow's Jar Ministries made a trip to Kaluga, Russia to visit 8 orphanages and a foster family that WJM has been supplying with school supplies, toys, clothing and funds.

We were able to share the Gospel with both children & directors through bracelets made with the "wordless book" colors. Then, we distributed shoes, toys and candy to the children & joined in their games with them.

We were also able to pass out New Testaments in Kaluga and Moscow and minister to two different groups of Christian ladies, who were interested in how American Christian women served the Lord and they shared the ways in which they serve as well.

It was a tremendous Joy to make this trip and see first hand some of the differences Widow's Jar Ministries has been able to make in this far away land and to fellowship & pray with these Russian Christians
