Ruddy Turnstone (Arenaria interpres)

Not a bird to normally excite a Scottish birder but Turnstones are a scarce passage migrant in Cyprus and this was one of two birds seen on Paphos Headland. They were very close to two other scarce waders, Grey Plover and Whimbrel and the trio were a real bonus for my Cyprus bird list.
