I really had high hopes for this food festival because I wanted to learn something new. The problem was that I feel like this movement is in its naissance, meaning that they haven't fully embraced the power of vegetarianism. They have too much prepared food and substitutions, rather than fully embracing the vegetable and making something novel. I don't want to eat vegetarian meatloaf - I want something new, and exciting! I can EAT the meatloaf if I wanted to.
