Beardown Tors

    Newer Older

The final shot from this early morning shoot and probably my favourite image purely because of the strength of light and colour. With strong winds blowing and fast moving broken cloud overhead it was only a matter of time before the tor was illuminated. Interestingly, the landscape beyond the tor is comparatively dark and this helps to further highlight the rock forms in the near foreground. The sunlit cloud and pockets of blue sky also brings depth and colour to the image. This is definitely a location I hope to return to with my new 16-35mm lens and hopefully the light will be a good as this! Thank you for taking a look at my work. Mk
