Staple Tor, Dartmoor
The winter light and weather conditions had been perfect all day on Dartmoor, and so climbing to the top of Staple Tor to photograph the sunset was well worth the effort. By stopping the aperture down I was able to increase the exposure time to two seconds and this allowed me to use a piece of black card to externally control the light entering the lens. I much prefer using this technique, instead of bracketing or taking double exposures, as less Photoshop intervention is required. The result is an image true to what I saw with my own eyes.
Thanks for looking. Mk
