The Crystal II
Office for the bank Nykredit. Sustainable building that consumes 25 percent less energy than the existing energy legislation and has photovoltaic panels on the roof that give electricity. Rainwater is collected to be used as grey water for toilet facilities and sea water provides additional cooling for the building.
Architect: Schmidt, Hammer and Lassen, Denmark. Built: 2008-2010.
