Everything is under control

This vig started out as a way of showing some ideas using levers with grill pieces to create more interesting looking controls.

Let's face it. The standard Lego lever base make everything look very silly. ;-)

After that initial intention it all grew with more ideas for controls and the idea of an entire control room was pretty obvious.

I've also uploaded a pic with some of the techniques explained.

    ^iainy73: Of course you can.
    The point with this Moc was to inspire others. Use these designs and/or develop them further for me to borrow some day.
    Generally any kind of controls would be the weak spot in official sets. Mainly due to all the printed pieces, or even worse stickers. I think that aspect makes this an interesting area to explore.

    The first thing that comes to mind from this is the control room to the nuclear plant in the movie "China Syndrome". Way Cool.

    A Homer Simpson fig would be right at home. Or, could easily be turned into a DJ table.

    just come across your MOC after I've spent some time trying to design control panels. Now I'll consider "borrowing" some of your brilliant ideas ( may I, please ? )
  • Larry Lars 5y

    @fgr62 Yes of course.
    The point with showing this Moc was to inspire others. Be sure to check out the instructions pic.
