This is a very timeconsuming method of taking pictures, but it gives a very distinctive appearance.
To do something like this you need a tripod, a dark room and some sort of light you can move around. The idea is that you light the model in different ways, and combine the different pictures afterwards in a program like Photoshop. With Photoshop's 'screen' blending mode, you can layer pictures on top of eachother, retaining the highlights of each layer. I also use the 'levels' command to get rid of anything but the highlights, and add some color for the hell of it. (Yup. It's blue/orange. I'm almost sorry.)
