He was still for several minutes until a Least Flycatcher chased him from this perch.

You are so lucky. We do not see as many warblers in Florida. I have seen a summer tanager. I have never heard of this bird. I must look it up in my bird book.

      Are these guys shy?

Wonderful image! Well done. Spent a part of the day Wednesday observing several Cerulean Warblers in the canopy of Queen's University Pangman Reserve. Frustrating, as they never offered a clear view for the camera - especially with the trees leafing out now. They're just a beautiful Warbler!

I will have to visit the Peterborough area. Is there a special area that is good for birding? You have captured quite a few birds I have not seen here in Whitby. This one is lovely (blue is my favourite colour),

There is no particular spot here but in the peterborough area, there is a good mix of habitats - boreal species find the southern limits of their breeding range here, not far from the northern limit for many southern species. The local birds are great but we often head south to the Lake Ontario shore to watch migrants and waterbirds. Good luck!

Wow. Great shot of a hard to get close to warbler. I do not ever recall finding a photostream that looks like the photographer enjoys the exact same stuff as I do. Very nice job, and hope to come back when I get a few more minutes!

Man, this is awesome! I think in the spring I'm going to East Tennessee to find this bird. I think it's my closest option. Great job!
